Privacy Policy

What we collect
- Your recordings. The audio you upload, plus its duration and format. Stored for up to 30 days, or until you delete it.
- A hashed IP address. We never store your raw IP. A one-way hash is kept for abuse prevention and legal compliance, for up to 90 days after the recording expires or is deleted.
- Browser user agent and upload timestamps, for the same purposes.
- An anonymous device cookie, used only for abuse prevention.
- Website analytics. We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit, which pages they land on, roughly where in the world they are, and what device they use. This sets cookies and means Google receives your IP address. It tells us whether the site is working and worth improving — it is not used for advertising, and we do not build profiles of individual people.
What we don't collect
No accounts, no names, no email addresses. We do not sell data, run ad trackers, or attempt to identify who you are.
Who can hear your recording
Links are unlisted, not private. Anyone with the link can listen and download. Player pages are excluded from search engines, but a link you share can be reshared by anyone who has it.

- Vercel (hosting)
- Neon (database)
- Cloudflare (audio storage and delivery, bot protection)
- Upstash (rate limiting)
- Google Analytics (website usage statistics)
Analytics runs on this site only. It is not loaded inside embedded players on other people's websites.
Legal requests
We retain the hashed data above so we can respond to valid legal requests. We do not sell any data.
Deletion
Use your delete link to remove a recording at any time — audio files are removed immediately. Everything is deleted automatically after the 30-day retention window.
